Beertown Tree Project Supports Nature's Time Capsules and Beertown's

Our roots are what nurture us.

The Beertown Tree Project is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization founded in Beertown ten years ago at the 18th Quinquennial by botanist husband and wife Brian and Gretchen McNish. The Beertown Tree Project is dedicated to protecting, restoring, and enhancing the tree canopy of the City of Beertown and the greater Thakiwaki Valley.

As Brian reminds us: Trees have what's beautiful above ground but what nurtures them is buried underground. Half of what is necessary for a tree's survival is unseen. Isn't it interesting that we put things underground that are important to us--to the health, well-being, and beauty of the community?

Join the Beertown Tree Project in celebrating our 10-year anniversary by sponsoring the 20th Quinquennial Time Capsule Day.

There is the possibility for majesty in even the smallest seed.
Trees are nature's time capsules and will carry memories of the beauty of this region for years to come.
